Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the MedOS Hospital Management System provided by MedOS Health Technologies Pvt. Ltd. ("MedOS", "we", "us"). By accessing or using MedOS, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service Description

MedOS is a cloud-based Hospital Management System that provides appointment scheduling, patient management, billing, lab management, pharmacy management, and related healthcare administration tools. The service is offered in three tiers: Starter, Professional, and Enterprise.

2. Eligibility

MedOS is available to registered healthcare facilities in India. By registering, you represent that you are authorized to bind the healthcare facility to these Terms and that the facility holds all required licenses and registrations to operate in India.

3. Account Registration

  • You must provide accurate and complete information during registration
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • You must promptly notify us of any unauthorized access to your account
  • Each user must have a unique account; sharing credentials is prohibited

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to:

  • Use MedOS only for legitimate healthcare administration purposes
  • Comply with all applicable Indian laws including DISHA, IT Act 2000, and ABDM guidelines
  • Obtain proper patient consent before entering their data into the system
  • Not attempt to access data belonging to other clinics
  • Not reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the service
  • Not use the service to transmit malware or conduct any illegal activity

5. Data Ownership

Your clinic retains ownership of all patient data and clinic data entered into MedOS. MedOS is a data processor acting on your instructions. We do not claim ownership of your data. You may export your data at any time in standard formats.

6. Pricing & Payment

  • Pricing is as published on our website, inclusive of 18% GST
  • Payment is due monthly or annually, depending on your chosen billing cycle
  • We accept UPI, credit/debit cards, net banking, and Razorpay autopay
  • Annual plans receive a 15% discount and are non-refundable after 14 days
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 60 days written notice

7. Free Trial

New accounts receive a 14-day free trial with full features. No credit card is required. At the end of the trial, you may choose a paid plan or your account will be suspended. Data is retained for 30 days after trial expiry.

8. Service Availability

We target 99.9% uptime for the MedOS platform. Scheduled maintenance windows will be communicated at least 48 hours in advance. We are not liable for downtime caused by factors outside our control (internet outages, AWS infrastructure issues).

9. Limitation of Liability

MedOS is an administrative tool and does not provide medical advice. Clinical decisions remain the responsibility of licensed healthcare professionals. Our total liability is limited to the fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time from the Settings page
  • Upon cancellation, your data is retained for 90 days for export purposes
  • We may suspend accounts for non-payment after 15 days past due
  • We may terminate accounts that violate these Terms with 7 days notice

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Hyderabad, Telangana.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
