MedOS product update: Lab & Diagnostics module now live
NABL-ready LIMS with bi-directional analyzer interfacing, sample barcode tracking, and multi-level validation is now available on the Professional plan.
We're excited to announce that the MedOS Lab & Diagnostics module is now live on Professional and Enterprise plans. This has been one of our most requested features, and we've built it specifically for Indian diagnostic labs.
What's included
Full lab lifecycle management: From doctor order to technician worklist to result entry to PDF report delivery — everything flows through a single system. When a doctor orders a CBC, it appears on the lab technician's worklist instantly. When the result is validated and released, the doctor gets notified and the patient receives their report on WhatsApp.
Bi-directional analyzer interfacing: We currently support Beckman, Mindray, and Sysmex analyzers with bi-directional communication. Results flow directly from the machine into MedOS — no manual transcription. Setup is a one-time ₹9,999 per analyzer.
NABL-ready workflows: Multi-level result validation (technician, pathologist, release), sample barcode tracking, TAT reporting, and critical value alerting are all built in. If NABL accreditation is on your roadmap, MedOS gives you the digital infrastructure you need.
Patient report delivery: PDF reports are generated automatically and can be delivered via WhatsApp, the patient portal, or printed at the collection counter. Patients love getting their reports on WhatsApp — no more "come back tomorrow to collect."
Pricing
The Lab & Diagnostics module is included in the Professional plan (₹5,999/month) and Enterprise plan (₹14,999+/month) at no additional cost. Analyzer interfacing is ₹9,999 one-time per machine.
